Give it a rest, Wendy's

First of all, you’re assuming management gives a damn.

For some higher-ups improved numbers IS improved service.

Even if they’re aware of some these problems, if most customers put up with it they still won’t do anything. It not until a certain number of customers complain they’ll be bothered to make changes.

Even if they do make changes it might not be what you want - they might still think the time they allot for service to be fine and simply fire workers who can’t meet the standard. Which means you’ll have even more inexperienced than usual workers then trying to meet an unrealistic standard.

This sort of thing is why I’ve long avoided drive-thrus. Of course, there’s other issues with fast-food. I’ve been eating it less and less over the years.

This needs to be made illegal, through code enforcement or zoning. This isn’t the Pit so I can’t drop the F-Bomb, but making my stay in line for 20 fenomenal minutes because I can’t pull out because your service is taking 20 minutes? Yeah, F you, multiple-fast-food-places.

But then it’s not certified Anus beef.

Check the post dates, y’all. This is a thread from 2011 revived by a spammer.

Spammer, I don’t see no stinkin’ spam post. I think it was revived by someone who finally got their burger.

And the fries were cold.

You can say “fuck” outside of the Pit as long as it’s not directed against other posters. “Fuck you, Wendy’s” is perfectly within the rules.

…and the word you were trying to spell there is “phenomenal.” I hope.

I find myself being asked to park & wait for fast food fairly often. Seems pretty inefficient to send an employee outside to deliver one order. But, I don’t dare complain. It’s not worth the risk of contaminated food.

Well, I don’t go to Wendy’s as they have the greasiest fast food burgers on the planet, but I’d definitely be calling corporate and complaining. Or, I just wouldn’t go there anymore (my most common approach to businesses that piss me off).
