Well, I’ve been sick and my asshole tolerance levels have been really low lately. However. . . If you want to see an example of how “the little posters” can get a chance [you can look at the Pit thread I started about **King Nifty**](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=142131). He was acting like an ass (in my estimation anyways) and I started the thread. He apologized and he hasn’t entered random threads to call people liars since. I asked that the thread be closed and it was. End of story. Or so you would think. Nope. Here he is complaining about how mean other posters are to jerks. You know, I was only kidding about the Why Can’t We Be Asshats Commeration Society and now look-- they’ve got their very own thread. ---

You mean proving the point that you can’t keep your word, and have the gall to call other people liars? You didn’t say “I’m not coming back unless you keep goading me.” In fact, you specifically said you were not coming back _because_ people were goading you. Conclusion: you’re a fucking liar and a hypocrite. And unlike you, we have [evidence](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=142131) when we call people that. I reiterate: you can end this easily. Offer a sincere apology and demonstrate an understanding of how one behaves in civilized company, and people will accept it graciously. Alternately, just leave.
