To clarfy this–I’m looking for specific _tracks_, so please don’t just tell me the artist’s name. Stuff I like: early Moby, and a lot of the songs off of the Matrix and both Blade movies. Yes, I’m sadly underexposed in techno/house (what exactly is the distinction between the two?). What I want it for: to listen to, to run to, and to have one-person dance parties in my room to (though only when my roommates aren’t around). Thanks. ---

(The Great White Shark) by **Out of The Ordinary** is my all-time favorite biking/running tune. It borrows heavily from the **Jaws** soundtrack, and the spoken intro is German, but the rest is pure techno, and kicks **Arsch**! I spent two years finding it, but I finally did on a double CD called **Techno Trax Vol.6**. There may be some other tunes you might like as well… Good luck! Quasi ---

Old-skool techno goes back to Kraftwerk, house is fairly recent. If you liked the stuff in Matrix and Blade, try Jungle/D&B. Most anything by Goldie. I’ll second the Fatboy Slim recommendations, adding “Weapon of Choice”. Chemical Brothers are also good, as is Daft Punk.
