Besides, you don’t _really_ want to get rid of us. We’ve got more refineries than any other state by far, produce more oil than any other state, and have the biggest port in the U.S. when it comes to foriegn commerce. You really want to pay four bucks a gallon for gas like the rest of the world? Far better to just make us knuckle under to your iron yankee will will so we’ll stop annoying you. Besides, y’all do realize that making us part of a foriegn country won’t _actually_ make us any farther away, don’t you? ---

Won’t work. No matter how hard you tried, we’d never sink into the Gulf, and you couldn’t tow us out. Oklahoma sucks. ---

Still… no harm in trying! Hey, if we succeeded, you could lay claim to waters that are currently international waters and then charge ships beaucoup bucks to pass through. ---
