Ah yes. Remember the salad days when guys would meet a girl, knock her out with his club and drag her back to his cave by her hair?

Now kids these days with their soda jerks and be-bop music and poodle skirts!

I just want to confirm that I am female.I am going with the note option so that way if he is not interested , he can quietly reject me.I just don’t want to put him on the spot

How do I know if I am roughly in his league? Also, your use of “wasting his time” has me shaking my head.

This. +1. No one should date ever.

I’m pretty sure he violated some kind of Best Buy policy here. When I bought a big-ass TV at Best Buy, I asked if they could help carry it to my car since I was parked about two or three spaces away in the parking lot and was told they couldn’t go out into the parking lot. I had to drive up to the door so they could load it.

So I finally went back to Best Buy today. When I arrived, I noticed that he was at the Geek Squad Technical Support assisting other customers with computers/laptops issues…he was obviously occupied. I went back to my car to write a note that says

“I’m not sure if you remember me but you helped me in selecting a Lap top last Tuesday”
I’d like to get to know you so call/text me if you’re interested"
I wrote my name and number…then I sealed the note in an envelope.

I felt it would be awkward to just walk up to him and hand him the note while he’s occupied with other customers … …so I decided to give the note to another guy who also works there to pass it to him. I smiled at him then I left.
However, I had to go back today because I was having issues with the volume after updating my computer to windows 10.I realized that I gave my number to the wrong guy For some reason, I didn’t feel the same attraction as I did with the first guy but I gave my number out anyways

I mistaken the guy with another guy. They are both slim, same hair color and height. The wrong guy obviously hasn’t called … … He probably thought his co workers played a prank on him.

should I just forget it?

Walk up to him and ask him out. He will either say yes or no.

If nothing else, you understand the vulnerability every man feels when he asks a girl out. It can be enlightening, I am sure.

Guys want to be direct. He is more likely to say yes to you if you ask him directly. This shows confidence and clarity. Guys don’t want the mind games and note-passing.

You’ve never mixed 2 people up before?

Make sure you get a name next time.

Sure as hell not anyone who I’ve felt a “strong attraction” to and “sparks flying” like the OP described. That’s the kind of person I’d remember. The fact that the OP can’t even tell him apart from others working there is pretty bizarre to me.

But the attraction wasn’t as strong as you thought apparently, since it turns out he was essentially interchangeable with anyone who looked similar to you. Maybe a more likely explanation is you’re just horny.

I was going to suggest that you get a job at Best Buy, and take a more direct approach.

But maybe the hiring manager is ALSO obsessed with the guy, to the point where EVERY new hire has to resemble your H.S. Which suggests that you may be facing some competition.
