I am a sweetaholic and also on a diet (lost 19 pounds go me!) Once in a while I give in and have some ice cream. It helps keep me on the straight and narrow if I tell myself today that tomorrow I may indulge.
Every so often I get a craving for pizza pockets. They’re greasy, loaded with transfats and make my poo turn interesting colors, but I’ll eat half the bag at a time. Then eat the other half later the same day. I try not to buy them too often.
I think it’s awesome I was followed up by Super(Argh about my damn frozen chickens)Hal.
Depends, varies. Right now I’m on my second box of ice cream sandwiches in about a week and a half. Had not bought them in probably 2 years.
Oh chocolate chip Cookies, peanut butter cups, Tex-Mex, cheese, cold milk, soda with ice! I battle different cravings pretty much every day, so if I could, I would eat and entire vat of anything in the above mentioned posts. But that could be the deprivation talking. I wonder if reading this thread was a such a good idea?
For this reason, if what you are craving comes in more than one size, a small will usually get the job done and make the craving go away.
That’s it. Superhal is off the Christmas card list.
I wish. It’s all-or-nothing with me. Give in to a craving and start of a mega-binge or stick rigidly to the diet. Moderation? Not in my vocab, unfortunately.
Bring bacon.
thankfully my weakness is eggnog, so there’s only a month where I can indulge. Oh, and Cadbury Creme eggs.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Mmmmmmmmm. Luckily, they don’t exist in Budapest, so I can only give in to the craving when I visit London and/or the U.S. maybe once a year. But, oh, that once a year!!!
I just bought 2 cases of Krispy Kremes and a case of Famous Amos cookies.
For the past few years I have been taking prescription medicines that emphasize “Do Not Eat Grapefruit While Taking This Medicine.” Grapefruit has always been my favorite food. I’d eat it at breakfast, during the day as a snack, at dinner as a dessert, and before I go to bed as a treat. Every now and then, in spite of the medical warnings, I can’t resist and I buy one of those quart jars of grapefruit sections and eat them in one or two sittings. Heavenly! Even if it is killing me.
Apparently, my body NEEDS an enormous bag of Doritos.
Sigh. I ate cookies, doughnuts, garlic bread and about a kilo of spaghetti and I lost 5 pounds when I woke up this morning.
