# Giving Up On D&D Online's Free Trial

I’ve downloaded that thing three times now and cannot get past the initial “equip weapon” phase. That little rogue guy just isn’t turning it loose.

I _really_ like the graphics, but it’s just a hassle when I can’t get a longsword so that I can begin questing.

(They also give you some good “seed money” to get you started.)

Oh well…

I guess there’s a reason they went from a pay model to a free model.
