Hated it. In fact, I think it was by far the worst episode of the series. The arrangements were boring, and there was no plot to the episode. Some great dancing, but otherwise, blah. ---

Very disappointing after last week - all but a couple of the numbers were very underwhelming. There was some decent humor, but it was also a notch below what I’d normally hope for. I think it gets bumped up to a “meh” on the strength of Brittany’s outfits in that first number. What a midsection that girl has - it’s every bit the counterpart to Harry Shum’s abs. ---

I thought it was a bad episode, with several actors badly out of character, with the Britney worship way over the top (how much did her publicist pay that scriptwriter, anyhow?), with Will doing wildly improbably things like buying a Corvette. Last season he was taking a second job to make ends meet, and now he’s supporting his wife in a second home and can buy a $60,000 Vette with his ‘savings’? The reaction of the kids to the Britney song at the end was totally whacked, even by Glee standards. Sue was out of character. And Britney is too hot for the school, but Madonna isn’t? Huh? I know this show is basically a fantasy/comedy, but you need a little more character cohesion than this. The only thing that kept me from voting ‘hated it’ was Britney’s more-than-usual dialog, almost all of which was funny. ---

And he’s actually _paying alimony_ to Terri? :eek: Either his lawyer is a moron, her’s was a genius, or Ohio has some really messed up divorce laws. This episodes was **horrible** ; Brittney’s non sequiturs were pretty much the only redeeming thing in this episode. ---

Brittney is my favorite minor character and I was very impressed with the actress’ dancing. The bizarre one-liners she’s given are fricking heelarious. I have never found John Stamos attractive ever. (Tho I like dark haired men) He is getting attractive–I found him hot in this ep. I was surprised to be so bored with the Shue and Emma storyline. I thought, “Emma you SHOULD be with Carl!” I didn’t realize how many Britney Spears songs I knew. ---

I agree with most of what’s been said, it was disappointing and disjointed. I felt like it was a showcase for Britney Spears and then I saw the commercial for her new perfume and that explained things. It was all product placement. ---

It was an OK episode. The Brittany stuff was awesome, and I liked the dentist. The dancing was spectacular. I was annoyed though, that they had extras doing everything in the fantasy sequences instead of the regular Glee folks. ---

I haven’t been to High School in seven years, so I don’t know how crazy kids are about her now. ---

While I agree with all the criticisms about the ridiculous plot and out-of-character actions, that first song/dance sequence with Brittany as Britney was so smokin’ hot I didn’t care how good or bad the rest of the episode was. ---

She also did pretty well on _So You Think You Can Dance_ a couple of years ago, IIRC. Boring fucking episode. I’m totally not the target audience – believe it or not, it is possible to have totally escaped all of BS’s musical career, so I didn’t know any of the songs – and there was nothing there plotwise to keep my interest particularly. Will’s reaction to his jealousy was just weird and stupid. Dancing with the kids in the performance? WTF was that about? Only good part, other than a few of Brittney’s bizarre non sequiturs, was the principal’s intro of the performance, which cracked me up. ---

Mr. Schuster makes my skin crawl even when he’s not being a total creeper alongside his students. That was very uncomfortable to watch. Emma and Dr. John Stamos (who is something like ten billion times hotter than Matthew Morrison) should run for the hills. The plot, to the extent that it existed, was disjointed and only existed to facilitate the musical numbers. Pretty much every episode of Glee ever, then. I liked the Britney numbers, although the fact that they gave me flashbacks to when I was actually in high school made me feel old.
