I completely agree!
Of all of Glee’s implausibilities that one takes the cake 😃 I actually said out loud, “No way, that would NEVER happen.”

I also liked that they killed the Quinn drama - even if that meant a jarring and completely out of nowhere change of direction. I’m guessing that the writers are not completely clueless and are aware that the internet generally hated the Quinn thing. I’m assuming that’s the case because everyone here seemed to dislike it. It makes sense for them to get rid of something universally hated ASAP.

I would also enjoy alone time with Karofsky over anyone else in the cast. I don’t mind that he probably can’t dance. It’s the lap part that is important.

I mainly watch this show for the song and dance routines and usually it doesn’t disappoint, but the Troubletones’ dance was just weird. Arms and legs flailing all over the place it looked more like an aerobics instruction video than a dance.

But oh how I love this show. It makes me want to get a sex change and have its babies. Twelve of them. A whole glee ensemble of my own.

Oh and a third vote for Karovsky. I wish they’d just get rid of Kurt and Blaine and have him do the nasty with Puck.

I had a suspension of disbelief problem with Quinn’s apparent assumption that having decided that Yale might be nice, she had only to submit an application to ensure that next Fall she would be happily ensconsed in New Haven.

IRL, the admit rate at Yale for the class of 2015 was 7.35%. To put that in perspective, 27,282 people applied, and only 2,006 admission offers were sent out. ([Cite](http://www.yaledailynews.com/news/2011/mar/31/class-admit-rate-lower-rate/).)

Is Quinn supposed to be super duper smart? Even then, there’s no guarantee that she would get into Yale.

I am probably the only person on God’s green acre that would, but my choice for a la dance would be Finn. I love that goofy, clumsy, lop-sided grinned boy!

What bugged me about this episode (and has for a few episodes previously) is how they have a performer on a stage in a big, presumably darkened auditorium with blinding stage lights shining on them pick out one person sitting in the audience. I did lots of theatre in college, and you can’t see jack squat in the audience with the exception of the first few rows. If the house lights were all on, Mike _could_ have seen his dad walk in late, but no way would Kurt happen to pick out Sebastian. Nitpicky, but there ya go.

I missed Biest. Sue, not so much.

I find it ironic that, after all of the hoops the show and Oxygen went through (with the MySpace auditions and the two cities (Dallas and Chicago?) open auditions), the first two “stars” from The Glee Project - Damian McGinty and Lindsay Pierce - were selected for TGP through a call to agents.

> Speaking of Sebastien, I agree with Kurt’s Craigbook aroma comment and can’t see what Blaine would see in him. He’s not particularly attractive (other than in the young/slim/no facial abnormalities way) and his personality is total douche.

I could suspend disbelief a little more if Sebastian hadn’t put his cards on the table so quickly after having met Blaine. If he were taunting Kurt behind Blaine’s back but controlling the sleaze in Blaine’s presence then that would be one thing, but he’s already told Blaine that he wants to sleep with him and doesn’t care that Blaine has a boyfriend. I feel like that’s the kind of offer that one either accepts enthusiastically or finds totally offputting.

> [@](#):
>
> The only things he could really offer Blaine that Kurt couldn’t or wouldn’t would be things too graphic and specific to be addressed on an early primetime family show (i.e. I don’t think they’ll have an episode called “Roll Over Beethoven” or license _My Sharona_ and borrow the _AHS_ rubber suit for an episode). Larsen may have actually been the better choice for that role since he’s much better looking and has the dreadlocks for “rebel” vibe.

I could totally buy Blaine being attracted to a character played by Samuel Larsen – he’s better looking than Kurt or Sebastian, his particular look and singing style would be something different for Blaine, and he could easily have a sexy-but-damaged-“but I could change him!” thing going on.

I don’t have any trouble believing that Quinn _thinks_ she’ll get into Yale. It’s not very likely that it would actually happen (although IIRC it has been mentioned that her grades are excellent), but Quinn has had unrealistic plans and expectations before. As competitive as Yale is, she probably has a better chance of being accepted than she did of successfully framing Shelby for child abuse and regaining custody of Beth.

Just in today: McGinty’s contract has been extended. No word on whether it’s by one episode or ten, but the same article says he does have a plotline coming up involving a bromance with Sam. [Cite](http://www.irishcentral.com/ent/Good-news-for-Glees-Damian-McGinty---contract-extended-135190993.html).

John Schneider was a great choice for Sam’s dad, btw. Did it say who Sam is living with?

And speaking of Rory, how stupid are Brittney’s parents to host a teenaged male exchange student with Megaslut daughter in the house?

Especially into their drama program when she has no theater background to speak of; Rachel may have a choice since she’s been performing since before she was teething, but Quinn hasn’t even been in McKinley’s plays.

FYI, Yale School of Drama is a graduate program, not undergraduate, although there is a music school with an undergraduate degree.

(After all, the original callbacks were based pretty much entirely on singing ability.

Is there a reason I couldn’t edit my earlier post?

Anyway, for those of you playing “Spot the _So You Think You Can Dance_ finalists in Glee show choirs”, here’s who has been spotted (so far) in Sectionals:
Unitards: Kent Boyd and Robert Roldan (both Season 7); Pauline Mata (Season 8)
TroubleTones: Jaimie Goodwin (Season 3), Comfort Fedoke, and Courtney Ann Galiano (both Season 4 - and Courtney appeared in the first couple of episodes (she even got credited) as one of Quinn’s “slut” friends)

The edit function only works here for 5 minutes after posting. After 5 minutes, the edit button goes _poof_. It’s to keep someone from making nasty or stupid posts and then going back and cleaning them up after someone calls them out on it.

This. I had to google it to confirm, and I’m still not convinced it isn’t all a big practical joke on the part of the glee writers.

Remember, this is Glee. He’ll try to go home to Ireland, and the New Directions will beg him to stay for Nationals, and he’ll either convince his parents to move to the U.S. or sacrifice them in a Blaine-tanic ritual.

That would be appropriate, as I believe the autumn festival of Samblaine (_Oíche Shamblaine_) actually originated in Ireland.

Although Damian McGinty was only promised eight episodes as his _Glee Project_ prize, there’s nothing to prevent the _Glee_ Powers That Be from offering him a full season. So if the character is popular, the writers like him, and McGinty is willing to stick around, he might well stay.

I’m still wondering about that Lima/Dalton Academy wormhole that allowed Sebastian to run into Kurt and Blaine on a school day.

Sooner or later Blaine is going to have to feed. I’m thinking that will be the resolution of the Sebastian plotline (the Warblers probably specifically chose him as an offering), and Kurt will realize his secret and have to make a choice.

The actor who plays Sebastian, Grant Gustin, goes to near comical lengths to work “I’m not gay” into his interviews. On a talk show the other night he made a comment about how he was chosen because the producers wanted a gay character who nobody would suspect was gay. (Really… Kurt’s the only gay character on the show so far that you’d pretty much automatically clock as gay the first time you see him.)
