Something Sarah Palin is the undisputed heavyweight champion of, by the way, as evidenced even in the Sestak story. I’m not even sure I get what’s supposed to be so dumb about an 11 year old asking “did you plug the hole yet?” Is there supposed to be something ignorant or stupid about the phrasing? it’s a little simplified, maybe, but a.) EVERYBODY is simplifying it as such and b.) she’s 11. This is far from the worst thing Beck has done when it comes to attacking families, by the way. Remember, this is a guy who once called the wife of a radio rival to mock her on the air about about her miscarriage. ---

Mainly because your garden variety morning zoo shock jocks are pretty much seen exactly for what they are, even by their fans - adolescent jerkoffs whose main job is to crack jokes and play juvenile pranks during rush hour. They don’t style themselves great thinkers, and most importantly they are not trying to make political statements. In fact the only time most of them talk about politics is when they’re making fun of the latest Washington sex scandal or gaffe by some prominent politician. Beck on the other hand has millions of fans who do consider him a great thinker and take his theatrics and scare tactics seriously, in the process dragging down the political discourse in this country big time. ---

My girlfriend’s redneck father, for one. He’s been known to _take notes_ during the Glenn Beck show. Ironically, he has the time to do this because he’s voluntarily unemployed. ---
