I suggest that his instruction to not bring signs is to try and drive home the idea that these are all concerned patriots trying to reclaim their country from a corrupt government headed toward socialism. Probably to help maintain some credibility by preventing some of the racist insulting signs from previous gatherings from becoming the focus of news channels and blogs. Although I don’t like Beck I have mixed feelings about the Tea Party. I’ve been posting on another site where the liberals and conservatives tend to be more insulting than here. It made me see how unhelpful and non productive that kind of exchange is. Even here we have multiple posters who readily lump liberals conservatives into a one size fits all mold. It doesn’t help. ---

How did Glenn Beck lose his honor, other than the obvious being a lying demagogue? And I know that the light is good on the National Mall, but if he didn’t lose his honor there, why should he expect to find it there? ---

Looks like maybe the whole taking back civil rights movement thingy didn’t play as well as was hoped, lately he’s just talking about honoring our heroes and restoring American honor. Of course, by now it may be about welcoming our new insect overlords. Which sounds crazy until I remember who we are talking about here. And no “politics”. Because politics is bad, and there won’t be any of that! Nosir! “Come to the super giant Texas style Bar-B-Q, and we’ll serve you some tofu burgers!” Fascinating. Its like gawking at a massive car wreck before it happens, we know where its going to be, but we don’t know which cars are going to be involved. ---
