This may seem like a morbid question but it is something that I have always wondered about.
On average how many people die each day in the whole world?
Also how many people are born each day?

World death rate is 9 per 1000. World birth rate is 22 per 1000.

World population is 6,067 million.

So the number of people born each day is 365,000. The number of people who die each day is 149,600. Yikes!

This is/was a rad site about this and related info: [http://www.popexpo.net/english.html](http://www.popexpo.net/english.html). I say “was” because it doesn’t seem to be up right now; I don’t know if it’s out temporarily or gone forever. It was called “6 Billion Human Beings”, and it was critically acclaimed, so perhaps you can find a mirror somewhere on Google
