what are chemical resistant gloves made of?  
and what materials are most resistant to harsh chemicals and hazardous materials?

From the kinds I’ve seen, chemical resistant gloves are made from neoprene or nitrile, depending on the properties of the material being handled. [Here](http://www.techniglove.com/nitrile.html) you can read a more detailed desription about nitrile gloves.
