# Glue that can only be removed by putting more on ?

(Inspired by the current Archie thread)

Am I remembering correctly in the Archie comics a plot line involving some super glue that, as it turns out, the only way to remove it, was to glop on some more? Seems like this would have been in the early 60s, and preceded the era of cyanacrylates. I seem to recall the principal and Veronica being involved in the story.

And if it wasn’t in the Archie tooniverse, does anyone recall which one it was in ?

Possibly rubber cement? The solvent in a fresh batch would be effective in removing the old stuff. Thing is, you can remove rubber cement with fresh solvent, so it’s not exactly applicable. But maybe a good enough explanation, to mix with poetic license and you know, tooniverse chemistry.
