# Gluten in ejaculate?

Okay, needless to say, I’m not asking this for myself. My co-worker cannot consume any gluten. I had told her about Straightdope and the calories in ejaculate question. She then asked me to ask about gluten in ejaculate. Let me first off say that I hardly understand why it would matter because this seems like the _perfect_ excuse but she’d like me to confirm.
Um. So.
Is there gluten in it?

p.s. I am sorry if this is just completely beyond the bounds of good taste but it is a legit question and she would like to know the answer and does not want to ask her doctor. I told her I didn’t imagine that it would have gluten but hell, you never know. And like I’m any authority on the topic.

There is no gluten in semen. It is still possible to be allergic to semen, however. But this is quite separate from gluten sensitivity. Gluten comes from plant products

And I thought this was a question about an alternative way of giving a finer texture to your home baked bread. I’ll leave that experiment to others.
