I wasn’t shocked to learn that, I admitted to not knowing it, and once I checked around some, I believed it. FAR more than most in here will do. Plus, during my checking about I discovered that most people my age or older didn’t know it either. Like me, they had assumed that there had been far more immigration than there had been, and it wasn’t something that we learned in school way back when. It’s still a big so what tho. Your concern is misplaced: bemusement in no way connotes fretting. Look’em up. Did anyone ever convince you that you were wrong about something simply by calling you a name? I haven’t called anyone a good for nothing bum; that’s what FL called her husband. I just asked her why, if she knew he was a bum from the gitgo, she allowed him to impregnate her? ---
