I got a 3.7 in Biblical Hebrew, a 3.6 in Evolution and Systematics, and I’ve been invited to help out the TA teaching physiology again summer quarter. ---

I made the dean’s list 4 semesters running, 4.0. 30 years ago. In junior college. After failing everything but English from 7th through 12th grade and squeaking out on a proficiency exam. Does that count? (And for the record, this would be why I am pretty comfortable with being an autodidact. It’s been a topic recently. If you don’t know why, you’re better off.) ---

Brag: Left my teenaged son home for a week while we (the rest of the family) went on vacation (he had to work). Came home to a clean house and a perfectly mowed lawn. He also had the grill going and dinner started when we arrived home. ---

Been searching for a part time job to work while in grad school. Landed an awesome job took weeks ago that I am absolutely loving, with flexible hours, ability to work from home when needed, looks good on my resume, an appreciative boss and money that kind of pays the bills.
