Personally, I preferred Princess Mononoke to Spirited Away, because it was less simple. Both, fundamentally, have the message that we need to care for the natural environment, but Mononoke acknowledges that that’s not always easy, and can be in conflict with other worthwhile goals.

But yeah, I have no difficulty in saying that both are great movies.
