I’m not pitting anyone, really. It’s not a rant. It’s a sports thread, which got moved into the Pit due to, I suppose, the inevitable feebleness of wit and acidity of tongue (would you lick your mother’s special place with that mouth?) of the baby blues.
However, and I mean this sincerely, if it is not obvious to you, it really would be of no interest to you. The back story is too vast.

Assuming this is not a whoosh, the Mighty Blue Devils square off against the Dirty Footmen in the Orange County Correctional Emporium at 9PM this very evening on a major TV channel near you.

Upon arriving to North Carolina oh so many nights ago, my first day of school started with “DO YOU DON’T YOU LIKE CAROLINA?” “Oh, right, that’s right kind of you to be looking out for me, I suppose I like it here.” “YOU SUCK” “All right.” “DUKE IS THE BEST, THE TAR HEELS SUCK” “Oh, well, I’d hate to have tar on my feet, so I guess that does suck. Tar Heels suck.” “BUT YOU LIKE CAROLINA?!” “Yes.” “WHAT?!” “No.” “OK…” “Finally, we agree on something.”
I still don’t understand after 10 years. What also is fun is UNCG has a bunch of UNC/Duke rejects. Not many people plan to stay in Greensboro for college. However, they are double rejects, as there is still a rivalry here. For two colleges no one goes to. It’s fuckin’ weird.
