# Go to the first unread post

What determines when you get this message? I got it on a thread I’d never posted to today, and didn’t get it on one I’d seen it on yesterday.  
What gives?

“Go to the first unread post” — DOESN’T REALLY WORK!!!

Almost every time when I try this, it just sends me to the very last post. It skips over everything in between that I haven’t seen yet, and then I have to scroll back up and eyeball the posts to try to recognize where I’d left off. So this feature is useless or maybe a little bit worse than useless.

I think maybe once or twice it actually worked the way it was supposed to, but that was long ago.

Yeah & those red folders aren’t all that useful.
