I’ve read all his posts (there aren’t many), and I don’t think he’s a troll. He’s not posted anything that isn’t accepted by tens of millions of Americans as simple common sense. He’s probably just a newbie who’s yet to acclimatise to board culture. Could be wrong, but that’s my gut feeling. ---

I was listening to NPR last weekend. There was a segment about the indictment of James Comey. The host played quite a few call-in voicemail comments left by listeners. The comments that expressed serious concern about the indictment and its ramifications were thoughtful, eloquent, spoke of lack of evidence, the slippery slope of targeting one’s enemies on the road to textbook authoritarianism, the grave posture of the Department of Justice as the personal (Mafia) attorney to the President, and the irony that the guy who quite likely _got Trump elected_ in 2016 had become Trump’s enemy. The comments in support of Comey’s indictment said that “he _should be_ indicted for lying to Congress … because he … lied to Congress.” Literally. [You know … morons] That may be what/all we’re dealing with here. There’s a shocking, appalling, disheartening, disgusting, and depressing number of them. ---

We keep getting in MAGA posters, they post some MAGA talking points, and just as people start to educate the person out of their knowledge bubble that they’ve been confined in, we ban them as trolls. **Let the guy learn.** Stop fucking banning these people, unless they’re threatening other posters or actually doing something against the rules. ---

If a pie is made and someone takes a major portion of it and leaves you a little, should you share your little bit of pie with that person out of “fairness”? The right have a major voice that they do not want to share-do they need this forum also to push their agenda? When “Cooperation” equals “Capitulation” in their eyes, it is best we keep _our_ eyes open. ---

If I was a Ukrainian and there was a Russian soldier sick, in my back yard, I’d make a go at educating him about things like how the Nazis called colored citizens of “Russia” of Jewish, Buryat, etc. heritage “slavs”, while forming alliances with white, ethnically Slavic groups like the Ukrainians, Slovakians (which name literally means “Slavics”), Croatians, and Bulgarians.
