Time will tell, and perhaps thunt is working on a clever head fake, but Iā€™m convinced that itā€™s MinMax. Heā€™s the only one who has ever called Complains of Names just ā€˜Names,ā€™ and he and Forgath are on a quest with Kin to find the teleporting teapot. They had already agreed to help Kin find it and then use it to transport themselves directly to the goblins. It seems to me that we followed the goblins through their fight with Kore right up to a perilous and mysterious moment, then jumped back to follow MinMax, Forgath, and Kin through their own adventures until they meet up with the goblins. Weā€™ll see how it all comes together. ---

Does it occur to anyone else that this dungeon would be a perfect opportunity to test Kinā€™s collar? If the explosive curse was a bluff, then great, they donā€™t have anything to worry about. And if it really would level a mountain, well, then, no harm done, theyā€™ll just reset to before it was triggered. Of course, they wouldnā€™t want to test it _every_ time through the dungeon, since then theyā€™d be guaranteed to never make it through in the event that the curse was real, but if it looks like an otherwise-hopeless situation, thereā€™s nothing to lose. ---

If itā€™s not a bluff, they all die, and reset with no memory of their previous attempt. And if it is a bluff, but they die because of some other reason, they wonā€™t remember that itā€™s a bluff. Or that theyā€™d even thought to test it. Itā€™s really no better a test situation than being outside the dungeon, in terms of getting concrete information about the collar. ---

Of coure, since the evil Minmax has messed up the dungeon so that it wonā€™t reset any more, trying it this time through is probably not the best idea. ---
