I’m watching a rerun of _The Big Bang Theory_ on TBS, and they break away in the middle of the program to start playing a Clippers playoff game. Apparently some other event is running long, and they feel if the Clippers are going to be on the teevee, they have to put it on a different channel, one that HAPPENS to be showing a program that’s IMPORTANT. Seriously, WHAT. THE. FUCK!!!???!!! Don’t you fucking Georgians have any concept of PRIORITIES? Not everyone who lives in Georgia; just the ones that make decisions in the CNN Center. Fuck. ---

KDOC does much the same thing - preempts worthwhile shows for hockey games, shows that would have normally come on well after the game is over but for some reason they cannot go back to their regular schedule. Pisses me right off. ---

I watch a lot of Me-TV which is broadcast in the Atlanta area by WSB. One or two times a month, I’ll tune in to watch a show scheduled by Me-TV only to find that WSB has pre-empted it for – wait for it – a high school football game, or an awards show for high school choruses, the kind where everybody gets an award, or some other such foolishness. This usually happens on Saturday, and never once have I heard the station announce ahead of time that the regular weekend programming would be pre-empted. I’m missing way too much _Batman_, dammit. High school football? Seriously? ---

The Big Bang theory comes on approximately 250,490 times a week for TBS. Seriously, I’d never seen a single episode before this year and within a month I’d seen 90% of them. Just wait another three days. Your episode will be on again. ---

I can totally agree with this pitting. I’m sick of sports preempting my shows. They have a bazillion Espn channels, use those to show that crap. ---

I’m do care that I’m doomed to a life of having to know sports schedules so I have at least some idea of when fox, tbs or any of the others are going to air it instead of their regular lineups. ---

That’s the thing that pisses me off about TBBT on TBS, it seems like they only bought a bare few episodes and are playing them over and over and over again. So you really haven’t seen 90% of them, you’ve just seen the same dozen or so over and over. ---

All sports teams give a lot of money to charity. Roseanne re-runs gave us Tom Arnold.
