Well, I am sorry but a person like him who: a) says “The majority of Spanish voters voted in a Socialist government, 'thereby letting the terrorists win” which is a lie and an insulting lie at that. b) starts a thread implying it may be ok to not respect democratic rule if he does not like the results c) [has posted his beliefs that the government should not be obligated to respect human rights and give prisoners due process of law](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=243677&page=3) is a fucking idiot. And a dangerous idiot. People who believe those in authority know better than the people and should have a free hand are dangerous. We are discussing here if the Spanish let the terrorists win. Excuse me, perhaps I was unclear. I have no problem with the Spanish voting for the Socialists. Not my country, none of my business. In my OP on the other topic I was using that as an example. I do not hold that view. Never have. That is why I used quotes around the final clause of the sentence. ---
