I’ll second _Shaolin Soccer_ as an amazing film. I’ve seen the dubbed version but I didn’t know it was going to hit American theaters! **Lightnin’** is right when he says your jaw will drop when you see the final game of Evil Team vs. Shaolin Team. Over the top action and the special effects are outrageous. If you like movies like this I’d also recommend _Legend of Zu_ if you can find it. Not a comedy but what the Chinese studios are doing with CGI effects these days are outstanding. ---

You _know_ your movie sucks when a great, quirky actor like Steve Buscemi (and Ricardo Montalban, even!) come across as mediocre. ---

I liked the movie a lot. Not as good as teh first one, but a hell of a lot of fun. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/god-help-me-i-saw-spy-kids-2/122977.md?page=1)
