Well, it wasn’t an earthquake so we can’t blame boobs. Don’t the gays cause high wind type storms? Hurricanes and stuff like that? It’s prolly their fault then. ---

I’m always amazed when people claim that disasters are a sign from God - and then claim that God must be mad at somebody else: “God struck our church with lightning and burned it to the ground. Clearly, God is angry about that gay bar that opened up two miles away.” ---

Errr, they don’t have that now that I look at the picture, but when the [church by my house got struck by lightning it hit the steeple](http://dkpfiles.com/pias/forum/69829/churchfire_042508_big.jpg), as one would imagine it would. Didn’t help that they were basically on airport property so there wasn’t really anything else nearby for the lightning to hit. ---

[Here is a matching photo of one that I lived next to that also got struck by lightening.](http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2009/07/lightning_strik_1.html) The church that I was raised in was struck by a tornado and basically just exploded into nothing. The church down the street from that burned down three years ago (on Christmas Eve no less). That is what churches do in my world. They get destroyed suddenly by some natural force. ---
