You sound like one of those gangsta rapper hippity hoppiters that I keep hearing about. If you find that you are frequently being mis-interpreted, then perhaps you should write in a dialect on English that doesn’t require translation or interpretations.

“Snoopy!”?? Do you mean “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”?
Seriously, the Lucy-Linus stuff really pissed me off as a kid. There was a series of strips in which Lucy, always on Linus’ case about his blanket, stole it from him and buried it. Linus went through withdrawals (Schulz’s drawings of him for these strips made him look like a shattered meth addict) before Snoopy finally dug up his blanket and presented it to him. I remember being so pissed at Lucy, wanting to give her a good smack…“Why dontcha leave him alone you MEANIE!!!”…and feeling so good when Linus got the blanket back…“That’ll teach ya, ya big FATHEAD!!”

Nope. There were two Peanuts musicals. “Snoopy!” was the later one. It wasn’t bad, and it had several good numbers(“I Know Now” was the best song, IMHO, followed by “Edgar Allen Poe”), but it didn’t pull together quite as well as “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” or have a stand-out hit like “Happiness”.

I’m sure that the production **Esprix** was in was at least equal to any production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” solely because of what was, I’m sure, his stunningly realistic portrayal of Linus 😃
