All of my envelopes have the addresses clearly typed, so legibility isn’t an issue. [/QUOTE] No, but I’ve received many pieces of mail from the US, in the past and recently, without the address being in ALL CAPS, with no apparent delays. And that’s leaving aside the domestic mail (why have a separate rule for domestic and foreign addresses?). Canada Post often recommends block cap letters for addressing for clarity’s sake, but it’s never been a requirement. ---

More likely, it’s massive subcontracting within the system. There are many things I miss about Canada, but the Postal system is NOT one of them. ---

By a happy coincidence, though, a friend was scheduled to visit me from the US the day before I left on my vacation, so I ordered it and had it shipped to him. They also have feedback for each seller, like ebay ([here is a seller](http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller/at-a-glance.html/102-1261672-3945708?ie=UTF8&seller=A17MC6HOH9AVE6) who offers cameras, for example). ---

However, Amazon.ca does 😃 ---
