Have you considered the possibility that quite a few of the people you’re complaining about are in the same boat?
Until SanFrancisco gets rid of the fucking Giants, they will be on my shit list.
I’ve been bored, but goddamn.
I visited San Francisco on business a few times in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Enjoyed it so much I added a couple of days to my trip one time and brought my wife along. Loved the city. Haven’t been there in over 20 years, however.
(Oh so serious - too funny)
It took me awhile of being a NYer, but I eventually fell in love with NYC.
Boston, Madison Wisconsin, and probably some college towns I haven’t been to yet are the most enjoyable places in this country - - - - for me.
I saw a film like that, only it was watermelons, and black-and-white hipsters.
So why aren’t you BigAppleBeantownBucky?
But I’m with you on your choice of towns. Live in Madison, family’s from Boston, and I visited SF this summer for the first time. And it was the first time I ever rescheduled a flight home to get more time in a city (and I was staying in the Tenderloin) (though I wasn’t eating there… taco trucks in the Mission!) (and don’t forget Philz Coffee) (damn, I could do parentheses all night…) (really)
Either get busy making it better or move somewhere you like more. Spending your life whining about living in a place you hate is kinda stupid.
