I find that the above mantra help me calm myself the fuck down when I encounter a Boards-related delay, which seems to be a very frequent occurence today. Also when I lose posts due to board slowness. I do not know whom I’m addressing by “you” BTW but it definitely has something to do with the SDMB. I hope this information is useful to someone. ---

Okey-dokey, but I put in ATMB because it was a means of addressing Board issues that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of motivation in getting fixed. It’s not a very inventive pit thread. I mean, this is getting really silly and really old to have a malfunctioning, delay infested buggy messageboard that we keep getting told is being worked on. What would you recommend as a reasonable timeframe to having these crashes, delays, lost posts etc resolved, after which we can just mutter and curse constantly? This summer? 2010? Never? ---

Sporadically, but then it always was. It doesn’t matter whether I log on at home or at work–where I have a superfast connection and a somewhat better computer. Same thing. I will say this, it’s better than it was 5 years ago, when I could barely post anything and could only read one-page threads (or the first page of multi-page threads). So I have a crossword puzzle next to the computer… ---
