Don’t forget…they also cancelled _Cybersix_ and _Escaflowne_, too. (The latter for something called _NASCAR Racers_. Which was a cartoon. With really crummy CGI effects.)
This goes beyond Earthly retribution…for this, the spirit of the Fox network must be tormented in the bowels of Gehenna for all eternity. BURN, sez I!
I tell ya…in about 25 years, all we’re going to have on TV is “The Happy Fluffy Non-Offensive Family Hour!” and “Backdoor Sluts 9—The SERIES!” And the latter won’t be any good, because the FCC won’t actually let anything interesting be shown.

Yeah, I was thinking about this, too. I’m not sure an advertiser is going to want to have their message sandwiched between Jaye’s caustic commentaries on society.
I still hate Fox, though.

And the networks wonder why cable is kicking their ass.
Any free network would have cancelled a show like _Deadwood_ after the first two episodes, reflecting their lack of faith.

As of right now I can only think of one network show that I’ll be watching next year: ER. It used to be, and not too many years ago, that I have something I watched every single night during prime time. These days? Eh.
