…where the fuck do you guys live? I’ve been in the Midwest almost all of my life, seen a few brown recluse or two and some wolf spiders and a bushel basket full of “daddy-longlegs,” but I’ll be buggered if I’ve ever caught one scampering across my face! Sure, they might have traipsed across while I slept, but what I don’t know doesn’t bother me, so…
Oh, and my informal policy is this: outside they are just fine a get to live. Inside, they die a squishy death.
Anyhoo…_y’all are pansies_.

Gotta go with **Thinksnow** on this one. The majority of spiders are harmless to humans and the few venomous spiders in the US that can harm people lurk in obscure corners away from contact with humans. If I see a spider, I grab a piece of paper, pick her up, and shift her out the door to get fat and happy on bugs outside.
What was that crack about pansies?
