There is no money in the fund for erosion control. Besides, if he really fucking wanted to prevent erosion into that particular cave, hmmm, I dunno, maybe he should leave a buffer around the entrance? If this guy had to put up with your fucking whining, he probably followed furt’s advice and cut the trees down just to piss in your kool-aid. I’m sure you and your buds could go up there and with a little elbow grease create and effective solution using brush and stuff from the felled trees to keep too much runoff and erosion from entering the mouth of the cave. If you’re interested in doing something other than boohooing. As for the example I bothered to look up for you, I stopped when I found the first one. Maybe you should practice your reading skills and follow along with ALL the comments on your thread, you might actually learn something… ---

In viewing a thread that the OP is an knowledgeable environmentalist, angered at an ecosystem going awry due to the guy who bought the land, and destroyed it, yep, destroyed it, aside from whatever socially acceptable rules are in force, your response is to destroy more in a , what, “Har Har, Pave it Baby!” that’ll teach ya! Um, you are not “pretty green”, and need to go back and learn about ecological systems. I don’t mean to pick on you, but, lately, in my line of work, “sustainable” and “green” are becoming easy bywords. On the one hand, after doing the real work of that for decades, I’m happy that the mainstream finally at least gets a bit of it. On the other, those terms have now easily become diluted. ---
