After what he did to Max Cleland (if any political ad ever deserved to draw libel charges to its creator/candidate…) he doesn’t deserve respect so much as a spit in the face. ---

I went to school with his son and his wife was my 5th grade English teacher. He’s no longer my Senator (since I live in NC now). But as a physician not particularly looking forward to that 10% cut, I’ll have to ask him about his flip-flop next time I see him. ---

Saxby Chambliss is lower than a snake’s ballbag. I can’t believe he doesn’t get disrespected to his face every second of every day. He is a true piece of human garbage. I must stop now, as I could easily spend the entire day typing insults. ---

He maintains stock as a moderate by saying all the right things in the run-up to a vote, and then voting with the Bushbots almost every time. Since the actual votes get a lot less attention than the kabuki theater leading up to them, he looks like a moderate without actually being one. Admittedly, he’s about 1000 times better as a senator than Santorum was, but that’s more or less like saying something tastes about 1000 times better than asafoetida… ---

Having myself worked 13 of the last 15 years with a legislature in one role or another, I can vouch for **Happy Scrappy Hero Pup** ’s accuracy in describing the situation with legislative votes. OTOH, Saxby Chambliss’ despicability is of cosmic proportions regardless of his voting, but we knew that already… ---
