# Godspeed, Super-Diego...! You can do it!

Doing his bit for the good of the species! A male giant tortoise from the Galápagos Islands single-handedly saved his species from extinction, having fathered something like 40% of the current population of its species.

We took our honeymoon in the Galápagos Islands! Didn’t meet Diego personally, but it was so incredible to see all the giant tortoises there. Well done, Diego!

Bear with me, I’ll get to the point. When I’m using the big mixer at work, sometimes the wheeled cart it’s attached to sways back and forth and clunks into the metal counter next to it.

Clunk, clunk, clunk. I always say it’s the sound of turtles mating.
