Another band to check out is [Boards of Canada](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7bKe_Zgk4o). I particularly like [this one](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xN3t1fSbnc). Also [God Is An Astronaut](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX-VTz0Miks). You might also like [Tycho](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mehLx_Fjv_c). His stuff isn’t post-rock, but it’s a shoegazy cousin. And then there’s [Hammock](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UlTJR9FY8Y), who for me is right up there with GY!BE. ---

I listened to a bit of the track you linked, but found it a bit challenging. I love **Sigur Ros** but they are much more ‘up beat’ and musical, compared to what I listened to for GSY!BE. I’ve never listened to **Mogwai** , can someone suggest a good ‘representative’ track? ---

Mogwai has some stylistic range so it’s difficult to pick one song to be representative, but I think [this version](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EfuLuN0VXs) of “I’m Jim Morrison, I’m dead” gives a pretty good idea. It doesn’t really start till about 90 seconds in, so give it some time. ---
