You should see “Wristcutters” - it has music from that band, and one of the main characters is a thinly-disguised version of the group’s frontman. ---

Saw them at Voodoo Festival in New Orleans last Halloween weekend, quite a show. It’s enough to make a person start wearing purple.😉 ---

I’ve heard the lead singer interviewed a few times. He comes across as something of a mad genius, although I’m not convinced about the genius part. Totally insane, though. Love their music. ---

I saw them in Austin (Austin City Limits Music Festival 2006) and they drew a HUGE crowd to the stage for their show. What I heard was good, but I only caught a few min. of their music on my way over to check out the set of Thievery Corporation.
