Going to Vegas..any advice?

If they didn’t have air conditioning, they would have guests dropping dead in droves during the summer months. Thus, considering I have seen no reports of masses of corpses stacked behind Planet Hollywood this past summer, I have to assume you might have misunderstood something when booking your room.

As I have often mentioned, you have a better chance of freezing to death here in the summer than dying of heat, due to the unbelievable temps they have in there. Seriously, even in August we often leave a casino and don’t even turn on the AC in our car for awhile on the ride home, simply to warm up!

I guess that website had it wrong (AAA or Priceline, I don’t remember which). Anyway we wound up at the MGM Grand. We enjoyed your site too, DMark!

And don’t forget, those Las Vegas commercials mean what they say about . . .“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!” Anything that you wouldn’t do at home, feel free to indulge in in Las Vegas! Isn’t that right, DMark?

To be honest, the local police department wants that slogan changed. It seems people have taken the concept to the extreme (see: OJ Trial) and not exactly “everything” is allowed, even in Vegas. And yes, there are those who come here to go insane and they pretty much succeed.

Now that I think about it, maybe I should put a couple of links to local bail bondsmen on my site…
