Seriously…as a native, even the worst casino steakhouse or cafe will still churn out a stellar prime rib for a decent price. It’s our one virtue…

I enjoy that genre a lot too. I didn’t mean to sound snooty about your suggestion. I hope you weren’t offended.

I just didn’t want the OP to have a mistaken notion of what he was in for if he took your advice.

I was there in 2016 and the lions were gone. I haven’t been there since then; maybe they’ve come back.

No offense taken, you have a point about not being clear on expectations. I’m used to trying to get brits to go off the beaten track and try something uniquely american that most foreigners have never heard of… I do forget that places like that are quite ordinary, really.
