# Gold bubble bursts.  What happens economically?

Love my wife, but the ring stopped fitting years ago. At $1850/oz I should collect more than the $99 I paid in '76 (I knew a guy, okay?).

When she was waitressing she bought a plated one that fit to shut down horndogs. When she got pregnant she switched to a fake engagement ring for sympathy.
