# Gold/Platinum certifications in other countries?

does anyone know the standard for measuring gold and platinum records in countries outside the US?  
please include as many as you know…

The Netherlands:  
Gold is 60,000 records sold.  
Platinum is 100,000 records sold.

In our defense, we’re a “small” country with only 16 million inhabitants.

In Tonga, I think 10 records is gold, 20 is platinum. 😃
