# Golden Wedding? Diamond? Share Your Stories.

My great grandmother died a couple of days before her and my great grandfather’s 72nd anniversary. (He’s still alive; they would have been married 81 years this past July.)

My wife and I celebrated our 40th at a large dinner gathering, with just the family. The ‘kids’ gave us some money and told us to go to Coronado and stay at **The Del**. We did the following summer, and had a blast. [We were married in December].

We’re now preparing for the 50th in 2 years.
