# Gong Xi Fa Cai or Happy Lunar New Year of the Tiger!

The Ox is going out and the Tiger coming in at midnight.

Already at not even 8.00 pm and military level fireworks are going off pretty routinely. Shanghai will literally explode at midnight. This place is a pyromaniacs wet dream.

among strings of 1000 firecrackers, I have a beehive. This is 16 rockets that go up about 10 stories and then explode in a big pyro burst. We’re gonna go blkow up shit right now 😉

The fireworks last night in Beijing were just as crazy as last year, but since we moved from a university guest house to an apartment building, much, much closer and louder.
