He took up the guitar when he was about 11. I started with him, but my interests were in the outdoors, so I didn’t stay with it. He developed into a great blues/rock player. In the video, there’s a knob at the end sticking up to give it a reverse headstock vibe. Ibys (or at least current ones) don’t have that. ---

Yeah, my brother is the guitarist on the left. The bearded dude singing is a bass player, though during a show, they will sometimes switch instruments. I’m not sure what kind of guitar it is, but I’ll ask. He has a couple Stratocasters, but that’s obviously not one of them. And to answer **jackdavinci** , he does have something that he does that is “singularly identifiable”. They end shows with Voodoo Chile. Close your eyes and you’d never know that it’s not Jimi Hendrix on stage. A video of this is posted on their MySpace page. ---

[/QUOTE] Sure - kinda like the failed Gibson Hendrix model that they were going to attempt a year or two ago (they reached a deal with the Hendrix estate and had set the guitar up for production, but the guitar-geek outcry was so huge that they didn’t go forward - a Hendrix model that is anything but a Fender Strat?? Please.)
