Welp, this coming Saturday I am giving a little lecture in Spain. I was allowed to choose the subject, and I decided to talk about nuclear near-misses throughout the Cold War, exploring in detail the events of September 26, 1983.

The more I read about the man of the moment, Russian lieutenant-coronel Stanislav Yevgrafovich Petrov (deceased last May), the more I really admire him. Sit Ei Terra Levis!
