I don’t doubt he posted things that were pushing the limit, but given this thread [update on my bros brain tumor - Miscellaneous and Personal Stuff I Must Share - Straight Dope Message Board](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=568372) maybe his suspension could have waited? Now he can’t even respond to people’s condolences. ---

Well of course. Didn’t suggest it wasn’t. But considering his last offense was almost a week ago, it doesn’t seem like there was a burning need to suspend him today. A little compassion for someone whose brother just died. Maybe he doesn’t give a hoot about it, but it seemed a little cold. ---

I would have held off if I had been aware of it. I’ll lift the suspension for the time being. ---
