As for your assertion that this is all just ‘hypersensitivity’…I really didn’t think you could get more stupid but you have sunk to new depths. This is like telling a black person that they are being ‘hypersensitive’ if someone casually throws out the term ‘nigger’…even if the person in question protests most non-defensively that they aren’t a racist. For what it’s worth, I’m not convinced **gonzo** ’s a homophobe, either. HOWEVER…just because you’re not antisemitic doesn’t mean you can use the phrase, “He jewed me out of a month’s pay” without getting crapped on. And that’s what **gonzo** is refusing to see. He thinks that because he didn’t actually mean to make fun of gay men, he gets a pass on the word. He doesn’t. And that’s where the stumbling block is in communication between us (call it “Team Sane”) and him. ---
