# Good actors/actresses that can't get a lead anymore..

I liked Tom Hank’s bosom buddy Peter Scolari better than him. He was in a couple of minor roles with shrunken kids, but deserves better.
Bess Armstrong is in a new movie, but it’s a little one, and she has to play second fiddle to Donnie Wahlberg, Marky Mark’s brother.

Since you mentioned some TV stars, I was reminded of:
**Candice Bergen** , who made some wonderful movies, like _The Wind and the Lion_ should be doing the parts of regal queens, etc. that Judith Dench plays. Or the tough Brit spy exec of James Bond films.
**Jason Alexander** , marvelous in _Pretty Woman_, is wasted on cartoon voices and weak TV pilots. He has a marvelous singing voice and can dance. He should do a Bio movie of one of the greats of Broadway. George M., etc.
**Julia Louis-Dreyfus** has much more range than they’ve let her use. She could actually carry the love interest if they’d let her.
And, sure, why not, **Jerry Seinfeld**.
He can’t act, but that didn’t stop **Geroge Burns** from getting hits out of _Oh, God!, Oh, God! Book II,_ and _Oh, God! You Devil_
Imagine Jerry in _Oh, the Devil!_ I’d pay to see that!

Other than a semi-important role in Hannibal, I haven’t seen Ray Liota do too much lately. And even though they never really got a lead in the first place, I think that the bad guy from The Professional/5th Element along with Mr. Blonde from Resevoir Dogs each deserve more than what they’ve been given…
