I’m glad they dropped the idea, along with the whole implanted ‘career chips’ thing (they actually made fun of this in a later season with Leela mentioning it and Fry having no idea what she’s talking about!) ---

It’s from the second series of Extras, with Ricky Gervais as a once failed actor, now the star of an incredibly stupid, but equally successful sitcom that he wrote, but hates what it has turned into. The quote is his catchphrase from that show. ---
