Yeah, I know that title was too hot for ABC and it gotten changed to **Good Christian Belles** before being shortened to **GCB**. Anybody else plan on this tonight? ---

Never heard of it, but thanks for the heads up. Judging from the [wiki page](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Christian_Belles), it appears sufficiently interesting enough to warrant a cursory look-see. ---

I was sort of planning to watch it, sort of not. I know Kristen Chenowtih (sp?) and Swoosie Kurtz (again, sp?) are in it. It looked interesting but not enough to find and record it, but when I noticed it was on I hit record. I’ll watch it at some point in the next few days. I was wondering what the title stood for. ETA apparently not Swoosie Kurtz. Who looks like her in the commercials? ETA2 Looks like it must be Annie Potts. I really thought that was Swoosie in the commercials. And here I thought they were getting the Pushing Daises gang back together. ---

I watched it mostly for Kristin Chenoweth. However, the entire premise is about a self-limiting as **Gilligan’s Island**. She’s going to have some plot to embarrass the main character, and it will backfire. There were a few funny lines, but the show was clearly trying to hard to be frenetic and came across with the “Hey, look at me! Look at me! I’m being funny! Next, I’ll go get the lampshade for my head! See? See? I’m being funny.” vibe. ---

I was just recovering from Lindsay Lohan on _SNL_, and this piece of cheese laid me low again. I worship The Cheno, and I love Annie Potts and Miriam Shor, and I even have good feelings for Leslie Bibb left-over from _Popular_, but \*yikes \*this was terrible. The title alone was a warning: I realize they couldn’t call it _Good Christian Bitches_, but why did they shorten _Good Christian Belles_ to unrememberable initials? _TCBY_? _IBS_? _WTF_? Whatever it is called. Just awful. I hope they all get good shows, and that The Cheno winds up in the B’way revival of _Gentlemen Prefer Blondes_ they cast that \*Smash \*girl in. P.S. I see they added a morbidly obese character who keeps stuffing her face–good lord, that huge cow must be a _size 8!_ How can she bear to \*show \*her shameful 125 girth?! ---

My wife watched this piece of shit last night. After twenty minutes, I decided to hit the hay with my smartphone and earbuds. Idiotic plot and writing aside, and that’s the shit I never set aside, it was the most needlessly frantic turd since Tank Girl or tub girl – your choice, whether you prefer literal or figurative. The goddamn car commercials had linger shots. It’s like the entire show was shot via a monkey-powered wind-up camera, and the monkey’s union, so he can’t be asked to put his back into it. ---

If the show was 1/8 as well written and amusing as these reviews, I’d watch it. As it is, I’m glad I was spared. ---

I found the commercials insulting as a Southerner who grew up in the Baptist church (since left) & found them incredibly off-putting, if not downright insulting. and yes, I do have a sense of humor. ---

I was raised Southern Baptist also, and don’t mind pot shots at Christianity, but this was unfunny and lame. The only good thing was that KC got to sing. ---
